Standen House & Garden National Trust 16-18 May 2025

We’re excited to return to the beautiful grounds of Standen House and Garden in May 2025, following the success of our first event last Autumn. The fair brings together a curated selection of exceptional craftspeople, showcasing high-quality handmade work in a stunning National Trust setting. We are currently looking for talented makers to participate in this special event next spring.

Our story

Established in 2019 by Brighton-based artist Lauren Hayes, The Maker’s Fair swiftly gained recognition as a reputable events brand among artists and handmade enthusiasts in the South.

Every event undergoes meticulous curation to present a diverse array of artistic practices. Our core philosophy revolves around fostering an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere where attendees can not only buy directly from makers but also gain insights into the creative processes, sparking inspiration.

At The Makers Fair, we keep things simple (like our name!) We believe in putting the artists front and centre. Our events are artist-owned, and our makers are the main attraction.
